Pros and cons of PercussionTutor app for iPhone and iPad

PercussionTutor app good for

Make this guys rich! I love this app. Hope they do import middle east stuff and indian percussion also .
All modern rhythm stems from these roots. Its a shame that all of the wonderful rhythms of the world are not taught more in modern music schools, but Im extremely elated that there is this app that brings the rhythm to life, at the touch of a few buttons! I hope this app inspires others to study these rhythms and help secure these roots in history, while firmly planting their own; much like it has done to me. Keep it up cats, and thanks!
This app is awesome to practice at different tempos and have the feeling that you are playing with others. I would suggest the developers to revise the Puerto Rican Rhythms. Xica is actually spelled Sicá. There is also other rhythms like Cuembé, Yubá, and Seis Corrido that are very important and popular on the island but are missing in the app. But in summary, a must have app for any percussionist.
An excellent resource to learn, understand, practice along with. Would LOVE to have 6/8 bell patterns & rhythms too!
If you are a beginner or a pro percussion player this app is a most have! "Bravo" People of Percussion Tutor!!!
I love this app! I use it all the time. I am a piano player and I always try various Latin tunes with different rhythms. The charts and videos are such a great bonus!

Some bad moments

The work made by the musicians to make this samples is great, but this software needs a great and very important improvement , even if you need to raise the cost of price, or inpurchase add on, when changing the speed it changes the pitch and the sound of the instrument , and complete destroy the original tuning of the instrument by this action, please fix this and maybe add a mixer so we can control loudness of each instrument, thanks
Great play a long app that loops very complex, authentically-done afro cuban, brazilian and african styles.
What an amazing and pleasant surprise!! Being a musician myself, I found the app quite useful. There is an "in-app" metronome for slowing down or speeding up the tempo, in case a rhythm is unfamiliar to you. You can use the rhythms as background music to practice your own instrument to. They also provide a link so that u can download the instruction manual in PDF format! All of the rhythms are quite precise and crisp...I commend the musicians involved. Great work, guys!! You can even watch the rhythm being played...there are videos!! They also provide a short historical synopsis of each rhythms origin! Very cool!! This really is a great app and I highly recommend it whether or not you have a musical background. Thanks guys!!!
Where have you been all my life? A great, easy-to-use app. Its so nice having all the grooves (with notation, audio, and videos!) all in one place. Love the ability to isolate instruments. Invaluable. Worth every penny and more.
Great demo and practice tool, my only suggestion is to allow tempo change of the ensembles. I highly recommend!
Great app. It could use one change though; the ability to slow down the rhythms
